Joachim Siegmund Quite an amazing album. Full of surprises, and a wonderful direct recording. Very dynamic ;-)
Love it! Favorite track: Polegnala.

Ed Buckley My ears see(?) this release, Fade, and Ten Children as a trilogy of sorts. Ten Children leans more towards the classical, Fade more towards the Jazz aspects of Lowenstern's musical amalgam. This release leans more towards the funk/hip-hop aspects. I own all three of the mentioned works. :) Really interesting works; I truly recommend these for those of adventurous ear.

about

michael lowenstern Brooklyn, New York

A cross between Eric Dolphy, Meat Beat Manifesto, NPR's This American Life, The Gap Band and Igor Stravinsky, Michael Lowenstern's sound defies definition; it's ClassicoFunkTronica.

Michael also runs a successful YouTube series "So you want to be a Bass Clarinet player" which reaches thousands of students and fans of the bass clarinet. I guess "successful" is relative, however. Thanks Beyonce.
